Speedy deleting

[edit]

Good call on Natasha (Coronation Street)! I completed your template with a valid reason code. For a full list of the reasons you can nominate for speedy deletion, plus all the coded templates to do so, see WP:CSD. Cheers. --Karenjc 21:14, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirecting past Emmerdale characters

[edit]

Was this discussed anywhere? If so, please tell me, because all I can see is that you've redirected every past Emmerdale character to the list of past Emmerdale characters, losing a hell of a lot of articles. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 16:37, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Echoing this, but with the Coronation Street articles. Why are you running on a constant cycle of merging them, unmerging them, recreating them, and redirecting them? Please discuss your edits, and stop switching between your (four?) different accounts to confuse the edit histories. Frickative 21:18, 12 July 2008 (UTC) and you are now confusing me!, Coroguy (UTC)[reply]

Why have i been being accused of sockpuppetry? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coroguy (talkcontribs)

See Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Dodgechris. — Athaenara 23:06, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please answer the questions relating to the Emmerdale and Coronation Street articles? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:32, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the emmerdale characters that i redirected either were suggested for redirection, or didnt hold much information, most of which only told us about the name of character and the portrayer, which already tells you on the list, Coroguy (UTC)
Where were they suggested for redirection? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:42, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It said that they should be redirected tp List of Emmerdale characters, but as they were listed as past characters i fixed and merged them into List of past Emmerdale characters, Coroguy. (UTC)

Where did it say that though? And you didn't merge them, you simply redirected them, losing a load of information. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:54, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Youve lost me, Coroguy, (UTC)
It's quite a simple question: where was it decided to redirect the articles, or did you just do it without discussing it? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 22:11, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I told you before, they didnt need an article, as it only said about the name of the character, and the portrayer, which it already tells you on the list. |Coroguy (UTC)
So you did it without discussing it? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 22:27, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose, should i have? (UTC)
Yes. You're supposed to discuss things before making such drastic changes! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:21, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. In future thats just what i'll do, i should have read the basics, thank you Trampikey! (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Coroguy (talkcontribs) 23:30, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you going to revert all your changes or is someone else going to have to clear up your mess? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:55, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I may need a little help, replacing some redirects, as it took me a VERY long time to do them, Coroguy. (UTC)

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! — Athaenara 23:40, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
