Avenue Static was founded in 2007 by band members Corey Hoggard and Matt White. The band members began to
write music and lyrics in late 2007. The group team up with a local drummer named Caleb Beachum who stayed
with the group for 2 months. At this point the band was still working out of the garage to write new
music. In November of 2007 Caleb Beachum decided to leave the band because of personal reasons. In January
of 2008 Jeffry Bliven of Manteo was brought into the mix as a bassist. The band was now left without a
drummer. Corey and Matt continued to work on their song and eventually got lyrics and music to the song
called " Don't Bide Your Time." In February of 2008 the band recruited Jon Hartman of Richmond Va. Jon was a
former member of the band Bullistic(www.myspace.com/bullistic) In February of 2008 the band decided to move on
without Matt White(rythm Guitarist) and move on as a trio. After a month of writing lyrics and thinking, band

member Corey Hoggard decided that it would not be possible to play lead guitar and sing lead vocals. The band was sent out on a quest to find a lead singer. They found a fellow student from Chowan University named
Malachi Philip of Virginia Beach who was a vocal major at the University. The band is currently writing and
composing music in Corey Hoggard's hometown of Windsor NC and has a highly anticipated release of their new
album called "Start Static" which features "My Life", "Thorns of a Crown","The Day", and "Power of Love."
The band is scheduled to debut at Turner Auditorium in Murfreesboro NC on April 21 2008.

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Corey Hoggard. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site.
