Proposed deletion of Tony Anthony (evangelist)

Hi Coren

I see you have flagged this article for deletion again, but not supplied any particular reason or created a discussion page.

The article has changed considerably since its original incarnation (which was deleted under the living persons criteria and particularly due to a lack of independent source material), and I think the same charge cannot be levelled against the existing page.

I am a less experienced user than you, but having read articles on deletion I'm not clear why you have nominated this one again. Can you explain? Thanks

For exactly the reason I stated (and nothing more): the subject of the article has requested its deletion. I have no opinion on the propriety of the article itself – in this case I am but the messenger.  :-) — Coren (talk) 12:39, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

OK, thanks. Can you link to published policy on how things proceed in this case, in the absence of a discussion page? The article is well-referenced.

Sorry, I see the discussion page is now up.

Articles created

Hi. Just wanted to mention that it has been a long time since I was able to access the "Articles created" option of "Contributions". Previously it seemed to be processing at a snails pace, far too long to wait for. The last time I tried (which was today) I was ejected from Wikipedia into cyberspace with the message: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

Labs access revocation

I was told that you were the person to ask about this. I was given access to Labs a while back and I haven't used it since the day I was granted access. So, I would like to not have access to Labs any longer. I am not comfortable having access to something I really don't know how to use. –Fredddie 04:27, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Nice work

If I'm reading AN correctly, you are the one to thank for implementing the new user right. Thanks, that was impressively fast. The entire process, from the identification of an issue, followed by discussion of a possible solution, and a well-run RfC to work out the details, followed by the impressively fast implementation, and a quickly developed Wikipedia:Template editors page has been a exercise in how Wikipedia should work.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 17:08, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

It does help to have been aware in advance of the impending request so that by the time the RfC concluded all that was left was needing to deploy.  :-) — Coren (talk) 20:20, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
