Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:47, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I don't get any compensation for contributing to Wikipedia. I understood the reason for the block and I won't repeat the kind of edits. I will make contributions solely based on reliable and trustful sources. Furthermore I declare that I don't have anything to do with the person the article is referencing to.

Decline reason:

Your username seems to stand for "Team Philipp Rhein 1998" so it does not seem plausible to me that you have nothing to do with the person you wrote about, whether you are compensated or not. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:24, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

{unblock|Yes, the name "teampr98" is indeed connected to the name Philipp Rhein. This, however, does not imply that I have any relation to this person. I just wanted to connect the article with the username. There also is no promotional intention behind this article. Rhein has already become a quite popular young pianist in Germany and I was wondering why there hasn't been created a Wiki page about him yet. Furthermore the page got blocked before I even was done with editing and inserting all the references. The article has now moved in the start-class but I can't continue editing. Please unblock me again that I can do all the necessary changes. Thank you.}

Reason see above

Decline reason:

As you have violated WP:EVADE and WP:SOCK by setting up an account to avoid your block, I decline this unblock request and upgrade the block to reflect your actions. Yamla (talk) 10:54, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cor32ed, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
