Blocked

[edit]

Hi. I have noticed that you have uploaded images of a large number of scanned in cd covers, video covers, posters, media photos, and the like, each time claiming that you own the copyright. That claim is quite unbelievable, considering the breadth of the types of images you have claimed ownership of. In case you are not aware, if you scan in a copyrighted image, you do not own the copyright to it. In the case of a DVD cover, for instance, the copyright of the image is owned by the company that produces the DVD; you do not own the copyright although you may own a copy of the DVD. WP:AGF dictates that I at least assume that you might own the actual copyrights to all those images, which would mean that you are an official representative of a media company that happens to own the copyrights to all of those images, so if this is the case email me (via the "E-mail this user" link on the left from my talk page). However, until that happens, you are blocked for probable extensive copyright violations. See WP:C for more on Wikipedia's copyright policies. If you want to explain your behavior, or want to reconcile your future behavior with Wikipedia policies, see Wikipedia:Appealing a block for how to do so. Image tagging for Image:Memsahah.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Memsahah.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Fair use rationale for Image:33801.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:33801.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 05:25, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:33801.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:33801.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:25, 26 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 05:25, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Guddu.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Guddu.jpg. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Proposed deletion of Collection 2

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Collection 2, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

notability is not established

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
