For some reason, the images on my page are unshowable. That's really weird. I have NO IDEA how that could've happened.--Wimpy Fanboy (talk) 12:53, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Password Trouble?

It's sad when a user forgets their password. I have a suggestion to prevent that. You could set up a private email account (meaning, you enable e-mail, but don't post your address to anyone), and have Wikipedia e-mail you if'n you forget your password again. That's too bad, though. 2D ℳaestro Hablar/Escribir 13:15, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Greg heffley head.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 13:05, 23 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:05, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Test1

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Civility

I have noticed that you have been uncivil in some of your edits to the List of Diary of a Wimpy Kid characters talk page—particularly your belittling fellow editors on several occasions, such as this edit. I agree that some of the edits are not constructive or are unnecessary; I also find it frustrating that the page gets continually in need of more cleanup. Even so, please be civil when discussing these things.

Thank you. —MathMaven (talk | edits) 23:47, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fish Hooks on Cartoon Network

A user on Wikia named Finn & Jake confirmed with Time Warner that Fish Hooks (another Disney Channel animated original series) will make its debut on Cartoon Network on October 3, 2011, but due to the release of MAD, Fish Hooks is getting tougher for Time Warner to try to pick up. I've sent a dozen letters about Fish Hooks to Cartoon Network, but they still won't air it on their Monday Nights programming. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jun Ishikawa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kirby (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
