Notable Roseville Residents
[edit]Boxxy is definitely a notable resident of Roseville. Also click this Boxxy and look at the sources. More than 10 million people saw her vids on Youtube.
(Yes there are a LOT more people that know Boxxy than people that know Lincoln Brewster) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.228.56.15 (talk) 23:54, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Define unconstructive
[edit]I stated an opinion, it was indeed well formatted and on topic, and was not a personal attack
The only difference was that "I" looked upon the change far less seriously than you did. It's a one hit account, a person who feels that his school is torture, and made a small change to show that. He's likely to never edit wikipedia again, and as such is quite likely to never care about your message.
As I said, relax a little, enjoy the sunshine (or the moonlight). Go catch the real vandals and just revert the edits on the "joke" vandals.--173.171.222.251 (talk) 23:44, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Mozart's Signature
[edit]Hello, I was wondering what was the source of the signature of mozart that you traced. I interested in tattooing this but I want to make sure it is legitimate. Thank you for your time, -AJ

Babbage link to 2d goggles rolled back
[edit]You did this so fast I can only assume you didn't even bother checking out the web site I added. Any particular reason for not allowing it? I have no association with the publisher of the site (am just a fan) and it DOES include a lot of interesting historical facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.43.255.210 (talk) 23:23, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

i don't get it. I have no clue about robots or how they work or anything like that. How does it determine what is vandalism? And how does it define vandalism? This is just an example of one of the pages that I was working on that got deleted by the robot.http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Jeffrey_Jones#Child_Pornography_Involvement Again, I do not understand this stuff so perhaps you can explain it. I don't see how this robot is helpful.
thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.243.2.132 (talk) 23:28, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
i didn't see anything other than a note from some guy closing off the discussion. So i have no clue as to what happened or why. Thanks, i guess. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.243.2.132 (talk) 23:44, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
okay, I finally figured it out. he says he is using a 'script', which to me sounds a lot like robot, since it is an automated process. I don't know what a script is. But doing hundreds of revisions in minutes hardly sounds like there is much human involvement. But again, I don't know anything about script or robots and the like. Also, I don't even know the best way to talk to you. Do i just respond by typing under what you wrote? Or do i go to your page and try to send you a message? i have been doing both since I don't know what works. thanks again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.243.2.132 (talk) 23:58, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
My Page
[edit]I am Angel Williams/Angelina Love. I keep trying to change the personal life information on my page to actual CORRECT information, and u wont let me do it!!! Everytime i change it, u change it back! Also, the myspace link that keeps getting put up (myspace.com/angel_willliams11) is a fake poser page and everytime i try to fix it and put my CORRECT myspace link up, u put the poser page back up! This is driving me crazy!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Angeltwilliams (talk • contribs) 02:54, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
Re: Geoff Petersen
[edit]I appreciate the apology, however, I must ask if you frequently watch The_Late_Late_Show_with_Craig_Ferguson. If you do, you would probably agree with my editing. I am aware that Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and I keep an eye out for vandalism, spam, etc., however, it's hard to write a completely by your terms "Serious" article about an ongoing gag on a Late night comedy program.

Cleopatra VII
[edit]Unless I'm missing something, it appears you semi-protected Cleopatra VII on September 9th after a single revert that day, and an average of one revert per day for all of September. While any vandalism is a shame, the need to do one revert a day doesn't seem like a reason to semi-protect an article for three months. Will you reconsider and unprotect the article now that its been over a month? Thanks. 67.101.6.244 (talk) 08:43, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Although you never replied to my request here, I saw you did do the unprotection, so thanks. I got to do the change to the intro I wanted to do. Of course we'll have to see if others are comfortable with it. 67.101.5.180 (talk) 23:48, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Air Georgian Logo - http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Air_Georgian
[edit]Hello Connormah
I am writing to inquire about a logo you appear to have uploaded for Air Georgian, which has since been updated by Air Georgian who I represent. I am relatively new to Wikipedia editing and am wondering if you can update the logo file/image. I can send the new logo via email if that is acceptable

Hello:
I just wanted to thank you for the Wikipedia article on my father Henry Woo. As you know he has recently passed away and it is difficult to adjust to his absence. Having this little page here will help keep his memory alive in one little corner of the internet.

User talk page protection
[edit]Your user talk page has been protected since 2010, in apparent violation of the policy which only allows for semi-protection for a "short duration". If you believe the policy is wrong or inapplicable then please suggest alternative language for it. Otherwise, please remove the protection. Also, the link to this page is not visible on your regular talk page, which is also a violation. I'm sure that both violations were inadvertent, and that you'll either comply or seek to change the policy. Thanks. --108.91.78.61 (talk) 21:34, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. --2602:306:C5B4:E3D0:1EF:5767:E7FB:31F9 (talk) 21:57, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
He doesn't want the "little IP addresses" to be able to speak to him. He should raise it to admins only as they are simply a better class of peope. 166.176.59.199 (talk) 22:45, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- This page has been graciously provided for you so you don't have to be worried about being denied the chance to speak. What is more you are also welcome to create an account. Chillum 23:47, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- FYI, I'm not IP 166.
- An unprotected talk page is a requirement, not a gracious favor. For someone committed to enforcing policy strjngently I'm surprised you are so dismissive of the protection policy. And, FWIW, Connormah never bothered to reply to me, graciously or otherwise. --2602:306:C5B4:E3D0:1EF:5767:E7FB:31F9 (talk) 03:28, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- For what it is worth the page has been unprotected. If you have not gotten a verbal reply it may be because you have just been making demands. Your demands have been met. Chillum 03:35, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
- Politely asking an admin to follow policy shouldn't be described as a "demand". I shouldn't have had to ask at all. --2602:306:C5B4:E3D0:1EF:5767:E7FB:31F9 (talk) 04:40, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Actually you did not ask at all, you posted at a notice board. Later you said "An unprotected talk page is a requirement". I see no polite request from you. 108.91.78.61 was very polite. If you wish to reply please do so on my talk page. Chillum 04:51, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
@HighInBC: The IPv6 range contribs led me here and worth reviewing). I have reason to think this is banned user, Carolmooredc. In particular, the responses on the talk page by the IP and that banned user in this out of the way article whose page history shows she was a procurator there. The subjects that this person is editing reminded me of Lightbreather/Carolmooredc issues before I found this strong coincidence. I would have emailed you this for an opinion but you don't have that enabled...so I'm asking here. :) The IPv6 is still active just on slightly varied forms of the same address and stirring things up. What do you think?

Dostoevsky's autograph
[edit]I don't even know how to start this, I don't know either how I managed to get in contact with you. I love Dostoevsky and I wondered how you got to that signature, where you got it etc. I want to get it tattooed and I want to be extremely confident about it. Baffin Bay Figure
[edit]Hei :) I am wondering if your figure indicating Baffin Bay https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Baffin_Bay#/media/File:Baffin_Bay,_Canada.svg perhaps contains a small mistake? The text says that Baffin Bay is the sea north of 70 degrees N, but I think on your map the blue marked "Baffin Bay" region stretches further south...? THANKS for double checking Ing Wied (talk) 10:44, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
