I'm afraid it's far too early to create this article. Normally Eurovision Song Contest year articles are created during or just before the previous year's contest, when solid information starts to become available. CT Cooper · talk 18:05, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

September 2014

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Amberley Lobo may have broken the syntax by modifying 4 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • | station = [[CBBC]]}} [[ABC3]]}}

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 08:29, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article layout

[edit]

Hello Connor George, you recently made this edit on the article Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Unfortunately the edit has been reverted as your edit did not conform with the layout style as agreed upon by WikiProject Eurovision (as per this example). When adding a list of articles to a "see also" section we need to make sure that only similar contests that are also taking place in the same year as the article's main topic should be listed. As the article is in regards to Eurovision 2015, then it is necessary to list Junior Eurovision 2014 - the latter would only need to appear in the see also section of Eurovision 2014. You may wish to browse the contents of Project Eurovision as there are other guidelines and layout styles that the project aims towards achieving. Thank you.   Wes Mouse | chat  17:00, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your comment on my talk page, just a note for future reference: when creating new discussions please make sure that they are placed at the bottom of any talk page and that you sign your comments by typing four tildes (~~~~). In reply to your comments however, I think you are getting confused. OK it might be 2014 now, but the Eurovision 2015 article is about a contest happening next year, so any see also links should be regarding to events happening next year. This year (2014) should only be added to contest articles for 2014. That's why I removed it, because you added a link for 2014 to an article for 2015. I thought I had also removed the link for the Congratulations 50 Years contest as that is specific to 2005 and should only be in the "see also" section of Eurovision Song Contest 2005 - and I shall be removing it shortly.   Wes Mouse | chat  19:12, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted the edit, as you changed a secondary source, into a primary source. Please read Primary, secondary and tertiary sources for further information. Wes Mouse | T@lk 17:02, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Chimera (mythology)

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Chimera (mythology) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
