License tagging for File:Holy Ghost Players - Hello Cruel World!1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Holy Ghost Players - Hello Cruel World!1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:06, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:HGPlayers001.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:HGPlayers001.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 06:27, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Elena Shemankova has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Bad Romance, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Legolas (talk2me) 05:07, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

...It is NOT a "test edit." Please do not delete it again. Comraderick (talk) 07:09, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please be careful in adding YouTube links to articles. They are copyright violations and shouldnot be added. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:33, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Bad Romance. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — Legolas (talk2me) 07:05, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am NOT spamming anything. Do not take that condescending tone with me. You can not write your own rules on Wikipedia. I have been using the site longer than you, and you have no idea what you are talking about. Comraderick (talk) 07:09, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:ELNEVER please. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 07:11, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bad Romance. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 07:12, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't you tell that to Legolas who seems to be determined to start an edit war, even if he/she thinks they are right? Comraderick (talk) 07:16, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To edit war you need two. If he is "determined to start an edit war" why you continue editing the article and no other talkpage? Just because, according to you, "[you] have been using the site longer than [him]" does not give you the right of edit-war and/or create copyrigth violations. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 07:19, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of WP:AN/EW report

[edit]

Hello Comraderick,

This is an automated friendly notification to inform you that you have been reported for Violation of the Edit warring policy at the Administrators' noticeboard.
If you feel that this report has been made in error, please reply as soon as possible on the noticeboard. However, before contesting an Edit warring report, please review the respective policies to ensure you are not in violation of them. ~ NekoBot (MeowTalk) 12:12, 1 July 2011 (UTC) (False positive? Report it!)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring by violation of the three-revert rule. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
