Marathi in the lead[edit]

Please DO NOT add Marathi to the lead of articles. It has been decided to avoid Indic text in the lead as per WP:INDICSCRIPTS. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 15:50, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is the English language Wikipedia, where transcriptions of names etc in the article into Indic script are neither needed nor wanted. So please stop. Thomas.W talk 13:02, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

please keep in mind[edit]

It is Mumbai, capital of Maharashtra and Marathi is official language of Maharashtra. So we can write in marathi,as it is official language. Collegegirlask (talk) 13:09, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bombay might be the capital of Maharashtra and Amaravati might be the capital of Andhra Pradesh, but that has no bearing on the situation right now. It has been decided by the community that NO INDIC TEXT WILL BE PRESENT IN THE LEAD of the article. Adding Marathi is equal to Disruptive Editing and will be treated as such. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 16:21, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

== this passage from Wikipedia site. There is no meaning to write the below passage (from wikipedia) ,because peoples are making changes after we suggested. Not so useful to use this site. They have to change their policies, otherwise no meaning to improve their site. Fix the issue what we are facing after written something.

Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia, written collaboratively by the people who use it. It is a special type of website designed to make collaboration easy, called a wiki. Many people are constantly improving Wikipedia, making thousands of changes per hour. Wikipedia:Introduction - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org › wiki › Wiki...

😈[edit]

From my suggestion Wikipedia is NOT goodsite. Wikipedia itself suggest that people can write collaboratively but some people won't allow to add something. Collegegirlask (talk) 11:11, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If your contributions don't add value to the article, then they are bound to be reverted. Just because Wikipedia allows itself to be edited by everyone, it does not mean that it can be edited in anyway. Your edit to Amaravati and Mumbai are totally different, do not try and claim that it is being reverted. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:58, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
