License tagging for Image:DSC03372.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DSC03372.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:06, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page University of Western Sydney on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Chriswiki 16:22, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:CoachRoos 246b.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 12:53, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Canley Vale High School. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. LibStar (talk) 15:04, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Libstar, I do agree with you that people should respect the contributions of others which in this case I ask that you respect my contribution to the CVHS article. The information is correct and valid yet you keep removing them because you believe that the article is not a guide. That is your opinion and in my opinion I believe that Wikipedia articles are a tool for information which in this case is what a "guide" is. Please refer to the countless articles for other schools and you will see that in your views they are all guides with similar information regarding the sections you have continually removed from my contribution.

no, other school articles do not have this. Please read WP:NOTGUIDE. LibStar (talk) 04:39, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is not a guide, paragraphs of content outlining school cirricula is an example of an enrolment guide. Whether or not this content is factual, sourced or unsourced, it does not belong on Wikipedia. Ajf773 (talk) 09:06, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2nd warning

{{Information icon Please do not assume ownership of articles as you did at Canley Vale High School. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. LibStar (talk) 04:39, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I give up. You can't reason with someone who can't see reason and I don't have time to keep play tag with you. You appear to have taken ownership of the school's article and refuse to respect the contribution others despite all of your empty rhetoric. Practice what you preach.

you don't seem to understand how Wikipedia works, even another experienced editor agrees with me. You keep inserting information whilst factually correct should not be in a school article. LibStar (talk) 09:41, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Someone may agree with you but that doesn't mean anything. I already know you've had issues with other Wikipedia editors too so I wouldn't be so smug about this.

Find me an experienced editor that agrees with you. Thw fact no one agrees with you in fact shows you're wrong. And you're very smug about this. LibStar (talk) 10:11, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I've had disagreements with other editors, that would happen to anyone who's been on WP for years and made thousands of edits. What I do know having edited hundreds of educational institutions is that we don't put subject listings nor non notable alumni. Just being true doesn't mean it gets into Wikipedia. The smugness of you either fails to realise this or you don't get it. LibStar (talk) 10:14, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah well good luck with your so called "experienced" editors. I hope your smugness doesn't irritate them as much as it irritates me and all the other people you think are beneath you because you spent all this time building up your experience points in Wikipedia. Maybe you can add them on Facebook while you're at it. I'm sure you're really popular with them.

Information icon Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. LibStar (talk) 16:03, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I could say the same for you. The most deletions you made on the CVHS article regarding the school Houses were already there to begin with. I just tweaked it a little. You even left them there initially but removed after as a personal attack on me. You know it. And I know it. Other school articles also make mention of their houses which reflects on the history of the school. NOT A GUIDE. Do not remove other people's contribution as a form of retaliation. Be professional.

you have been hardly professional in persistently adding a non notable alumni, subject directories , POV adjectives. They were removed for good reason and consistent with wikipedia guidelines. Then you came up with the lame argument just because another editor agreed does not further my case. Please find another editor that agrees with all your edits then I will cease editing this page. use of signature

[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. LibStar (talk) 02:30, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

please use edit summaries as I have previously requested. LibStar (talk) 14:02, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
