Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is a test page.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Don't worry, I've heard of that place. Don't delete it, my love. I removed the tag that it may be deleted. I keep seeing the ad on Channel 2 (WCBS-TV). And the website plays "That's Amore" by Dean Martin. And trust me, it was founded in 1946 by Dr. Seuss, and there are 3 locations. Next time watch Channel 2.

And I added National Cable Satellite Corporation, which redirects into C-SPAN.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Peridon (talk) 18:07, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Evidence

[edit]

Please give evidence for your claims in this article. I can find no connections between Seuss and this company, and fail to see what Fritalian has to do with it. I have now tagged for vandalism, as I believe it is your purpose to give misinformation. Also, do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you have created. Peridon (talk) 18:07, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Peridon (talk) 18:08, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hallmark Hall of...Shame?

[edit]

I removed speedy deletion tag but added hangon tag so Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace lasts longer. And I will also redirect Uncle Giuseppes' Marketplace.

OK. Uncle G's place exists. I know that. Can you produce evidence for the Seuss connection? And explain what a fictional language used in adverts by Dunkin Donuts has to do with these supermarkets? If you can do both, I'll apologise for tagging your article - once you add the evidence to it. I'm always willing to be PROVED wrong. Peridon (talk) 18:16, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Uncle G's is Italian, but Dr. Seuss founded the chain, so it makes sense!

Can you show evidence for it? Wikipedia requires 'facts' to be verifiable - that is, we need something reliable to back things up. Please sign comments with four ~ . Peridon (talk) 18:24, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The thing is, The Cat in the Hat sang this song:

How dear to my heart was that beautiful gredunza?
That my old feline father bequeathed to me
That old family gredunza
The old 3-handled family gredunza
The old moss-covered 3-handled family gredunza
That hung on the family tree

Send it to Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, Dr. Seuss! And don't sockpuppet me!
