Hello. Thanks for cleaning up these two DAB pages. I put a lot of time into getting them to look as they did (they were a mess before, and one didn't follow the same format as the other), but it certainly could have used more work. One of your edits, though, was incorrect. Piped links are permitted on DAB pages in limited cases. Quoting from WP:MOSDAB: "A redirect should be used to link to a specific section of an article only if the title of that section is more or less synonymous with the disambiguated topic. This indicates a higher possibility that the topic may eventually have its own article.". This is the case in the piped links I left in there. Me Three (talk to me) 01:43, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- You're quite right about the piped links to sections that contain the words alpha, beta, or near synonyms thereof. Undo may have been the wrong tool to correct my error, though. On Beta the piped links to [[Beta function|Euler's Beta function]], [[Hirogen|Beta Hirogen]], and [[EarthBound (series)|Earthbound]] seem to violate MOS:DAB. The duplicate link to Beta (Magic: The Gathering) and the second blue link to Association Football at Beta Ethniki are also unwarranted.
- On Alpha [[Freelancer (video game)|Freelancer]] and [[Alpha (investment)|Alpha coefficient]] probably don't need pipes. ASCII is badly worded, development stage is a redirect, and open back unrounded vowel is an unwarranted second blue link.

- I understand your points. To be honest, WP:MOSDAB is a big ambiguous (how ironic is that?), but I don't feel too strongly one way or another on the articles. I also haven't had much time to really dedicate to Wikipedia lately, so I'm going to leave it alone - and if you want to change it back, feel free. - In that case, I removed the second Magic: The Gathering link, the link to Association football, and the link to Open back unrounded vowel, as described above. I also re-worded ASCII. Another editor has repaired the link to Development stage. I left the piped links and the order of bullets as you reverted them. Cnilep (talk) 15:04, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
