How do I setup ClueBot 3 on my Talk Page to archive? MediaJS (talk) (C) 19:00, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
False Positive
I did not vandalize Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (film). I was just adding it was released in fullscreen and widescreen.

ClueBot III archiving discussions to a wrong month
ClueBot III is tasked with archiving requests at Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Photography workshop. The current configuration is:
{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveThis |archiveprefix=Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Photography workshop/Archive/ |format=M Y |age=720 |archivenow=<nowiki>{{tl|resolved</nowiki>,<nowiki>{{tl|Resolved</nowiki>,<nowiki>{{tl|stale</nowiki> |header={{Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Photography workshop/Archive/2020}} |index=no |nogenerateindex=1 |archivebox=no }}
For some reason the requests made in May are being archived to the April archive: Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Photography workshop/Archive/Apr 2021. Can someone with ClueBot III experience explain why this is happening and how to fix it? Thank you. — UnladenSwallow (talk) 00:18, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
You have a bug
Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that your “report false positive” link has a bug. When I clicked the Captcha, it approved me, but when I clicked post, I received an error message saying that I had a bad Captcha. Then I tried bypassing the Captcha by signing in on your ClueBot website, but every time I entered my information, it just reset and wiped everything. I figured I should let you know so that you can fix it soon. Thanks, 🐍 Helen 🐍 21:46, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
The link to the 2021 movie wrongly points to the cartoon series - Get stuffed Robot.

- You do realise that ClueBot is a robot? This isn't a neutral edit though. I'm a human editor and I'd revert it.-- 5 albert square (talk) 22:21, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
Talk page archiving disaster
While taking a look at one of my talk page archives, I realized that they were unreasonably large, so I decided to split them up. Previously I had User talk:JPxG/Archive1 and User talk:JPxG/Archive2 set up, and ClueBot had been filling them diligently. Archive1 was ~150kb and Archive2 was about ~100 (not to mention an User talk:JPxG/archive1 with lowercase A, that I had made before setting up ClueBot, which I prepended to Archive1). Anyway, I ended up with an Archive1 through Archive5. However, ClueBot's master index of my talk page archives (incl. all section headings) is now completely messed up, and it still thinks that I have the old structure from the 2-archive version. I don't even think it knows about the existence of the 5th archive.
Now, I could go through User:ClueBot III/Master Detailed Indices/User talk:JPxG and manually change every link to every section, but this seems like a huge pain: is there a way to force ClueBot to go through the archives and just rebuild an index from scratch? jp×g 22:52, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
Talk page archiving title bug
Can anybody explain how Talk:2021 Israel–Palestine crisis/Archives/ 1 is a thing when the template on the talk page has:
| archiveprefix = Talk:2021 Israel–Palestine crisis/Archive
| format = %%i
This seems like a silly little bug to me. @Cobi: Any help on this? RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 14:46, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
How often does ClueBot NG violate 1RR?
Given the sheer volume of edits, these criteria probably happen several times per day:
- The bot reverts twice on a page just outside the 24-hour window (it's programmed not to do it within 24 hours).
- The page is under 1RR.
- Both edits reverted are borderline (or more rarely, legitimate false positives), not clear vandalism.
