Reversion on the page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Toyota_Land_Cruiser
I am wondering why my change got reverted by ClueBot. I was merely trying to update which countries did not have the Land Cruiser (200) for sale, which includes Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Also Lexus Malaysia indicates the LX is for sale, hence I put it in the first part. But ClueBot thinks it was vandalism. I am just wondering why that is...
Thanks for your attention.

Should we add {{distinguish}} for ClueBot NG, on Clue the third's page? Also, there should be a list somewhere listing everybody from Clue family. —usernamekiran(talk) 03:07, 5 June 2017 (UTC) —usernamekiran(talk) 03:07, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

false negatives
I am aware of the trade-off between false positives and false negatives, but might you consider providing a channel for training the bot by reporting false negatives in situations where an automated program could reasonably have been expected to detect that the edit was damaging? And if so, within what period of time would the bot be expected to have reverted an edit if it is going to do so at all? Thanks. Just that I was surprised to see unexplained removal of the opening paragraph of an article still persisting after 6 minutes when the bot was switched on and reverting other stuff within a matter of seconds. Thanks. --Money money tickle parsnip (talk) 18:23, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
T-ara
This is not vandalism. T-ara was confirmed to have disbanded: http://www.allkpop.com/article/2017/03/t-ara-disbandment-confirmed-members-will-not-be-renewing-contracts76.174.35.70 (talk) 05:53, 10 June 2017 (UTC)

WP:BITE
Why do you hvae to be such jerks to the newbies you inevitably bite, as a result of your trade-off? Can't you just say "If your edit was not a test or vandalism, click here to put it back are report Cluebot's mistake"? Siuenti (씨유엔티) 13:02, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Siuenti: ?
- ClueBot's level 1 warning says just that:
ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made was constructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this message from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
I fail to see how that bites anyone. It makes it fairly clear what to do when the bot makes a mistake. I'm also a bit offset by your message calling CBNG (or the bot operators?) "jerks". —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 14:29, 10 June 2017 (UTC)- OK so I made a perfectly good edit, it was mindlessly reverted following some rules which have some unknown percent of errors, and I have to then "read about it, report it here, remove this message, and make it again". I'm not going to feel at all like some !jerks are making me jump through hoops for no good reason. I'm totally going to stay in Wikipedia and go through all that instead of going somewhere I feel more welcome. Maybe I took a while to make the edit and I don't know how to revert from the history, being a newbie and all. Siuenti (씨유엔티) 01:52, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
- The warning messages can be edited here. If you think the current messages are too bitey, you're welcome to change them yourself. You're welcome. And what I must say, the tone of your writing sounds like you have a grudge against this hard-working anti-vandal bot. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:59, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- It's not an unknown percent of errors. The false positive rate is calibrated not to exceed 0.1% (or one in a thousand). But, like K6ka said, the warning templates it uses are available for edits. -- Cobi(t|c|b) 08:42, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- It's very annoying to be reverted by that bot I have to say. I think about 1 in 10 of my edits get reverted. How do you test it? Siuenti (씨유엔티) 21:16, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Siuenti: 1 in 10? Please provide diffs to back your statement up. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 12:12, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- The current false positive rate of 0.1% was set during the bot's BRFA, and has not been changed ever since. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 12:28, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

@K6ka and Cobi: user Siuenti is clearly trolling. He has an odd history.
Clue reverted that user's edit only once, on June 18, 2012.
@Siuenti: Dont accuse Clue on false grounds. —usernamekiran(talk) 03:21, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- How many of those edits would it have reverted if a newbie had made them? Siuenti (씨유엔티) 16:41, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
This bot marks my good edits as vandalism.
I edited the topic Bangladesh with good faith . But this bot took it as vandalism. It left a message in my talkpage with no reason for my edit to be a vandelism. please help.Wholecube (talk) 05:47, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

Gerbert TV series

Twin Peaks (2017 TV Series)
I made a series of edits that would place the official episode titles in the table listing them.
These captions were announced by showtime to serve as titles, http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/news/twin-peaks-part-9-10-11-12-titles/ This is the source for all of the captions currently available, and the bot listed my contribution as vandalism. No source referred to the title as Twin Peaks: the return, and referring to it by that title just makes the entire article read like some kind of extremely tacky fan fiction.
Part 1: My log has a message for you.
Part 2: The stars turn and a time presents itself.
Part 3: Call for help.
Part 4: …brings back some memories.
Part 5: Case files.
Part 6: Don’t die.
Part 7: There’s a body all right.
Part 8: Gotta light?
Part 9: This is the chair.
Part 10: Laura is the one.
Part 11: There’s fire where you are going.
Part 12: Let’s rock. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.195.90.168 (talk) 00:47, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

IRC recent changes feed server will be restarted
A note to the ClueBot maintainers that the IRC recent changes server will be restarted, as stated in phab:T167643. This means that ClueBot NG will be down for a period of time. This will probably happen on June 21. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 16:07, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
CB3 at WP:RX
ClueBot III hasn't run on Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request in a while. I know CB3 was down for a bit, but it seems to be back up. Any idea why it's skipping the page? Config hasn't changed and last run was on June 8th. (Please {{ping}} me with your response.) czar 02:30, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Reversion on the page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Machine_embroidery
I am wondering why my change got reverted by ClueBot. The existing page was advertising and only featured contributions to the industry by one manufacturer. I updated it to include 3-4 more players, and many important, historical milestones in the industry. For some reason ClueBot preferred the advertising? I am wondering why this is, and please revert the Bot's changes — Preceding unsigned comment added by Csgoldberg (talk • contribs) 18:02, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
