Hi, Per WP:COMMONNAME and per this discussion the old names are kept, I admit prior to the discussion there's been alot of confusion over the naming of them but it seems consensus is to keep the previous name, Cheers, –Davey2010(talk) 22:48, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

You made a deletion request to make way for a move. Checking the history, awhile ago this was a disambiguation page for a British bank and an Irish bank. Both articles seem to still exist. Is the British bank the primary use and the page deleted to make way for it, or should the disambiguation page be reinstated to the two banks? Carlossuarez46 (talk) 00:18, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

File:A&N International Media.png

Hi Cloudbound. I am trying to find the source of File:A&N International Media.png which you uploaded in November 2011. The website you provided is no longer active and I have not been able to an alternative link through googling. I removed the image from A&N International Media per WP:NFCCE because the separate, specific non-free use rationale required by WP:NFCC#10c was not provided. The image does have a non-free use rationale for Northcliffe Media, but the image is no longer being used there. This means it has become an orphan and can be deleted after Friday, 10 April 2015, per WP:NFCC#7 unless it is added to an article. All I need to fix the rationale is a valid link for the source. Please let me know if you know where I can find that. It might be a good idea to download the image and keep it for safe keep just in case. That way if, by chance, it does end up being deleted, it can be re-created if the source is eventually found.

I was able to find something which looks like a logo on an archived page, but it is quite different from the one you uploaded. One thing that "might" be OK is for you to create the non-free use rationale for "A&N International Media" and then re-add the image to the article. Information added to articles is supposed to be supported by published reliable sources. However, "published" does not necessarily mean "online". Moreover, an online source which satisfied WP:RS, but has turned into dead link does not lose its value simply because it is dead per WP:DEADREF. So, perhaps the same reasoning can be applied here: You uploaded the image and provided the link, which just let us know where you "got" the image. I can't say whether the source link was actually where the image came from, but you can. This is completely thinking outside the box, but it just might work. No longer being available online does not mean that the image is no longer available anywhere at all. - Marchjuly (talk) 21:42, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Any possibility of getting an official permit from the Royal mint for UK coins, like Wikipedia has one from the Bank of England for bank note deisgns? Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:34, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Fiskars - Waterford & Wedgwood

Hi, I saw you edited Wedgwood. The acquisition by Fiskars has only been announced and still has to go through the regulatory process with an expectation of a close by July. I have noted this on both Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, and Waterford Crystal. Once the deal has closed, then the articles will need to be changed to reflect a new ownership. Thank you, Cheers Gmcbjames (talk) 22:16, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Secure Trust Bank

Hello Cloudbound,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Secure Trust Bank for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 20:24, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. @Devonexpressbus: I didn't report you. Your behaviour across Wikipedia and Commons when you haven't had your way has fallen short of the standard expected here. Wikipedia works when people come together, and don't start throwing around insults when they don't. Cloudbound (talk) 21:50, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
Completely free world, honestly not trying to tell you what to do, but in my experience troublemakers don't go away so long as they still have an audience. He was given enough rope and ended up exactly where we all knew he would. Engaging with him post-block is just going to encourage his attention-seeking, I'm-so-hard-done-by, antics at eg Virgin Trains East Coast. I reiterate: I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just sharing years of experience. Keri (talk) 00:11, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
@Keri: Thanks for the advice. I had been hoping for a positive outcome but that doesn't seem likely now. Cloudbound (talk) 17:01, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Notice of disputed non-free files

Hello, one (or more) of the images you uploaded that fell into the {{Non-free Scout logo nocontent}} category have been re-tagged with {{Di-fails NFCC}}. Hi, I have been working on the above page today, cleaning it up to reflect the changes in the company. However, I have seen that you seem to have reverted the majority of my edits. Could you kindly clarify? Thanks. Adamiow (talk) 20:43, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. I have seen this. My view was to keep that as a separate article, as it is quite lengthy. Nevertheless, could you clarify why you have reverted the changes I made? Was there a problem? Thanks. Adamiow (talk) 20:49, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

File:JonesPantanoMemoir.pdf

I don't know why it doesn't appear as used, as File:JonesPantanoMemoir.pdf is linked from Ilario Pantano, though the link is direct to the actual PDF. This may be a loophole in the "in use" assessment that needs more general attention. Fences&Windows 22:41, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi Fences and windows, thanks for your message. Not sure what's going on as it still shows as unused. The only inline links that show are to my talk page and the uploader, Redhead Infidel. Is it used in any way in the article? I couldn't see it. Cloudbound (talk) 16:23, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
It's the link in Ilario Pantano#Support, after the line "Congressman Walter Jones' endorsement of Pantano's memoir, June 6, 2006." It links directly to http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b0/JonesPantanoMemoir.pdf. Fences&Windows 21:11, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
It would be better if it was linked to an external source than a PDF hosted here. Cloudbound (talk) 19:54, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

File:United States v Tait gfsza.pdf

I agree that the file does not belong on Wikipedia. Further, I believe Despite this, I contest Speedy Deletion on the grounds that the requirements of CFD F10 are not satisfied. This also a similar situation to that which is mentioned above by Fences_and_windows. MisterCrazy8 (talk) 23:44, 19 June 2016 (UTC)

Yet again you are messing around with others work, when things have been removed for a good reason you are adding them back, such as your photos which you have been adding from flickr, I have spoken to the owner of those photos and it turns out you didn't ask for permission! Therefore I shall be reporting you to the moderators 86.134.240.38 (talk) 15:28, 9 July 2016 (UTC)

I've replied on your talk page again. Cloudbound (talk) 16:59, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

Is that an insult??? Seriously your punctuation is poor, do you have an exterior motive, the answer is NO! Im fed up with you thinking you can add pictures and when others don't want them you can put them back, that you can change the text as you please and when others change it, you can put it back! You don't run the GWR page, and you are using images without peoples permission, even if you are crediting their name you still need their permission to use it, which clearly you don't have! I will give you a chance to sort it, before I report you!86.134.240.38 (talk) 17:14, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

I've replied on your talk page. Cloudbound (talk) 18:14, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

I was just looking over my old contribs and found you were the individual who replaced my image of Rare the game developer's old logo on their page (which caused it to be deleted). Something similar appears to have subsequently happened to your own image since. So as I'm curious, and I have no other way of knowing - what was the meaning of this edit? --79.75.157.226 (talk) 21:41, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Ah, found when yours was axed in May 2011 - "Removed image, purely decorative since the introduction of the new logo – WP:NFCC 3a and 8." I would challenge that rationale itself! A depiction of a historical logo is self-evidently information that cannot be conveyed by a depiction of the current logo... --79.75.157.226 (talk) 21:49, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Not sure what else to say. The page linked to by Jo-Jo, and associated rules, seem somewhat arcane. --79.75.146.250 (talk) 17:46, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

Unfortunately I don't know what such a paragraph might say. I feel a historical logo is self-explanatory about what an image of it represents and the information it contributes to the article. --79.75.146.250 (talk) 18:29, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

Stagecoach mosaic

Hi,

Thanks for your great Stagecoach mosaic. I wonder if you could update it, removing the images from the Island Line, Isle of Wight and South West Trains franchise, which Stagecoach no longer operate? Best wishes, jcc (tea and biscuits) 14:23, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

GWR main picture

The main picture on this article was only changed less than a month ago see: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Great_Western_Railway_(train_operating_company)&diff=823935291&oldid=823812153 , the picture in question was reasonable and was not really worthy of changing, from looking at the history, main picture changes seem to cause arguments, and then cause for them to be constantly changed, which is unacceptable really.

I don't see or understand your reasons for changing other than you wanting to show off your photograph skills, in which case this is the wrong site, maybe look at flickr or another photography based website. Best wishes 209.93.106.208 (talk) 21:30, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for your message, It still doesn't explain why you changed the previous image for no valid reason, when it had only been up for 28 days! When the image you uploaded was no better quality or having a major justification for its change.

Best wishes 209.93.106.208 (talk) 21:36, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

Fuzzy? Good excuse, but sorry, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the current image(before you changed it). My previous comments still stand, there was and is no good or valid reason to change it. If you really did have an issue with it then you should have posted on the GWR talk page before changing it to get a consensus. Best wishes 209.93.106.208 (talk) 21:44, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

I was reverted in par to Good Faiths, I apologise if I seemed rude, but it get very annoying when everyone keeps changing good pictures for no reason. Thank you for reading. Best Wishes.209.93.106.208 (talk) 21:52, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
