Lois Walden
[edit]The Welcome message above is rather belated, but it contains links you will find useful, particularly WP:Your first article.
You do not need my permission, or anyone's, to make an article, and I am quite interested (from the point of view of making sure that new users do not get confusing advice) to know who told you that, or what gave you that idea?
The draft article at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Lois Walden is still available for you to edit and resubmit. The reviewer has helpfully marked references which he considered unsatisfactory. I have not time to check them all, but general principles are explained in WP:Notability (summary); you should also be aware of Wikipedia:Verifiability: "any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source."
Sites like Youtube are not considered reliable sources because anyone can post anything and there is no editorial control; for the same reason Wikipedia itself is not considered reliable, though if she is mentioned in an article the references in that article may mention her and so be helpful. You may find more links in:
Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
What you are trying to show is that people independent of her have thought her interesting and important enough to write about. WP:ENTERTAINER explains the standard expected. Keep the tone neutral, avoiding PR-speak like "major success... electrifying debut performance... critically acclaimed... " unless you are citing an independent source like a published review. See WP:PEACOCK.
