Synthesis and biographies of living persons
[edit]What you're doing at Tony Hwang amounts to original synthesis to promote points that arguably are libelous. If you want to add something about how Hwang hypocritically supports a budget contrary to his publicly held views, or how he's an inefficient lawmaker because none of his bills actually get passed, you'll need to find a source that actually makes that point. Combining unrelated sources to insinuate something none of them say is not acceptable, doubly so if it's about a living person. Huon (talk) 21:31, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
