[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Freddie Mercury, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Speedy deletion nomination of HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://hudsonalpha.org/page/11. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Elizabeth Cook (Anchor)
[edit]Hello Clarities,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Elizabeth Cook (Anchor) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Inappropriate editing
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Content delivery network has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. Zazpot (talk) 01:51, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Content delivery network. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Zazpot (talk) 01:51, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at MarkV-A1, you may be blocked from editing. Zazpot (talk) 01:58, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Robot combat. Zazpot (talk) 01:59, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Haircut (finance) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Zazpot (talk) 02:06, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Hold your horses, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. Zazpot (talk) 02:14, 3 November 2018 (UTC)

- Dear User:Zazpot, First; I would like to really apologize for taking much of your time in order to trace back all my wiki errors. As you can -obviously- see, I'm still relatively new here, and still learning a lot of things on the go (many tips from other users has helped me as well!). I've gone through all the points you mentioned above, and I'll do everything in my faculty to avoid them from happening again. Well, to be honest, I had a kinda slow day at work today, so I guess I ended up doing making many edits in a short period of time - on my phone ... and you can probably imagine how that goes :))
- Again, I really appreciate the tips above, and please do keep an eye on my contribution log to spot any future -hopefully none- mistakes. Yours truly. --Clarities (talk page) 04:02, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
- I appreciate your reply. However, some of your subsequent edits have been problematic. For instance this edit has the inscrutable edit summary
maybe 14.35z?
What is that supposed to mean? How does it relate to the edit? (Not at all, as far as I can tell.) This one's edit summary says,I've always thought we had an article on this topic
, which again does not help other editors to infer the nature of your edit. And here you can see an example of another user needing to undo an edit you made that was a WP:MOS violation (and that, also, lacked an edit summary). This still looks like WP:DISRUPTIVE behaviour. - I hope the good intentions that you expressed above are genuine. If you wish to live up to them, please slow down and think carefully about edits before making them. Wikipedia will be better served by having a small number of good quality edits from you that don't need to be reverted, than by having a firehose of low-quality edits. Quality over quantity, in other words. Zazpot (talk) 19:13, 3 November 2018 (UTC)

November 2018
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. SuperMarioMan (Talk) 02:10, 5 November 2018 (UTC)- Expanding on the above, there is no need to go through articles adding spaces to section header code (example here), since it has no effect on the way the headers are rendered. Please also ensure that your edit summaries accurately describe the changes you have made – summaries like the one in the link above are not helpful to other editors.
