Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, Cilbup, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to an article do not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  ناهد/(Nåhed) speak! 22:10, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August 2008

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rumi. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. ناهد/(Nåhed) speak! 22:11, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Iranian v. Persian

[edit]

First, don't lecture me on my talk page in chat window spelling and definitely don't scream at me in all caps.

Second, your vinegar is unnecessary. You made a decision to make a bold change and it was opposed - that is the nature of Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:1RR for an excellent method of editing: be bold, then address the talk page in question if reverted. Edits get reverted: as it says under the editing window, your writing will be edited mercilessly. There is a reason for the consensus, and if it needs to be addressed, make cited arguments there. ناهد/(Nåhed) speak! 22:30, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:38, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked

[edit]

I have temporarily blocked you for disruptive editing and breaking the three revert rule. Please be more careful in the future, and remember to calmly state your case on the talk page of the article without personal attacks. When this block expires, further disruption may result in an extended or indefinite block. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Okiefromokla questions? 22:44, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
