The page was nominated for speedy-deletion by SwisterTwister at 21:44, 29 August 2015‎. I am just putting the message on your talk page as a formality.

To contest this speedy deletion, click on the blue button that says "Contest this speedy deletion". An editing window will open. Replace the words "your reason here" with your actual reason why the page is not a hoax. The best reason would be a link to another web site showing that the shows actually exist (iTunes or other "buy the video here" web sites are perfect for this), or the full title and, if possible, ISBN or UPC# of a DVD which contains at least one of these episodes. If you don't have that, provide enough information from any online or printed material that can prove that at least one of these episodes exist that any Wikipedia editor can verify that the show is real. This will be enough to refute the "hoax" claim. It will NOT be enough to affect the outcome of the pending deletion discussion, but those discussions typically run for a week, which gives you plenty of time to find material which can demonstrate that this television series meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 23:00, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Other places that host wikipedia-style web sites

[edit]

If you want to create an article on a subject that isn't appropriate for Wikipedia, there are many other web sites out there which host pages about television shows.

As just one example, someone created a Wiki devoted just to the lyrics of the group The Tokens. It is at http://lyrics.wikia.com/wiki/The_Tokens . This wiki is hosted on a free, ad-supported commercial web site which is not affiliated with Wikipedia. I provide it only as an example of what you can do, not as a particular recommendation to use wikia.com to host your material vs. all of the other web-hosting sites that are out there.

You may want to make a local copy of the wiki-code of the article several times a day as you work on it, so that if it is deleted, you will have a copy that you can use elsewhere. Just remember, everything you post on Wikipedia is released under the CC BY-SA 3.0 License and under the GFDL. If you upload it to another web site, you should make sure you explicitly release it (or at least the version you copied from Wikipedia) under these licenses. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 23:55, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
