Antony Barnett

[edit]

Take a look at Wikipedia:Article titles and in particular Wikipedia:Article titles#Precision and disambiguation. In this case the first names are different so it's Antony Barnett, Anthony Barnett (poet) and Anthony Barnett (writer). Because the last two have the same first and last names they need the disambiguation. However, Antony Barnett has a different first name and doesn't need the disambiguation. To mangle up William Lyon Mackenzie King's statement "not necessarily disambiguation, but disambiguation if necessary". It may take some time for Google to pick up Antony Barnett. While Antony Barnett and Anthony Barnett (writer) both appear in a Google search Anthony Barnett (poet) does not. I will add some hat notes to the articles to make things clearer. Thank you. The disambiguation text is an elegant solution. 2603:7000:903F:E525:8C1:B626:5960:E959 (talk) 17:04, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
