Amjet

[edit]

G'day from Oz; I think you are confusing air charter and air charter brokerage. If I hire a Dassault Falcon from Amjet, then that's air charter and Amjet must have an AOC to legally fly that aircraft on air charter flights. If I talk to the Amjet office in Geneva and it finds a Cessna CitationJet belonging to someone else for me to charter, that's air charter brokerage and the aircraft is operated on the AOC of whoever owns the Citation - a broker does not need an AOC for that. In otherwords, Amjet is an air charter company with a brokerage office. YSSYguy (talk) 23:21, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
I am agree on your air charter definition. Your description is more in phase with the situation I guess.
I intented to write a little bit more in order to answer to the "wikipedia" requirements below "This article's lead section may not adequately summarize key points of its contents. Please consider expanding the lead to provide an accessible overview of all important aspects of the article. (April 2012"
