How you can help

Hello,

Thank you for your article about Arthur Webb (co-operator). I found it when reviewing the Special:NewPagesFeed and added some clean-up tags for several issues. The primary issues are that there is an overuse of quotations, that are not encyclopedic content and cause copyright concerns, and more citations are needed.

Two good pages to review are WP:Close paraphrasing about paraphrasing content and Wikipedia:Quotations, particularly the section about overuse (WP:QUOTEFARM).

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a message on my talk page. (The two key steps are to 1) create a new section and 2) after you leave your message, sign with four tildes ~~~~, which will automatically add your user name and date/time stamp when you save. See Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines for more information.)–CaroleHenson (talk) 00:20, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and made changes to the article so that it is not laden with quotes and has more of an encyclopedic tone. There are still a lot of places where we need citations, and it appears that there are many sources to be found for him. You can use Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL, but take out the quotes from the individual queries to get the right results.–CaroleHenson (talk) 13:45, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
