Inaccurate. A reason was indeed provided. Yamla (talk) 19:15, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: I have reviewed both the Wikipedia:Blocking policy and Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks information pages. My user page was not populated until today when I placed my unblock request. I did not receive a block notice from @DoRD: on this page or via email. Of the few edits I have preformed, absolutely none have been disruptive. Chrisbinx (talk) 19:31, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Reason for block has still not been provided. Please unblock my account. My edits have not been disruptive nor will they ever be. I respect this platform and its policies/guidelines. Chrisbinx (talk) 18:57, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You have been blocked for abuse of multiple accounts. This is what will need to be addressed in any unblock request. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:18, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for your block is presented to you when you try to edit, but to make it clear, I have placed the same message above. Also see this. —DoRD (talk) 20:23, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I haven't had multiple accounts simultaneously. This is the second account that I have created, but not for any malicious or abusive reason. I don't remember anything about my first account, I don't think I made any edits with it. I made the other account a few years ago and the information is tied to a work email that I no longer have access to. My intention when creating that first account was to edit information related to the Liberty Village neighbourhood. I worked for the LABIA and wanted to help the community that employed me. After making the account I familiarized myself with the editing guidelines. I remember learning at the time that what I had wanted to do would be Conflict of interest (COI) editing and I did not move forward as planned. I did not abuse that account and I no longer know how to access it. This year I created an account using my personal email so as to be able to get my login details regardless of my workplace. Remembering the policies I came across before, I tried to declare all my possible conflicts of interest on my user page prior to making any edits, in an effort to be as transparent as possible. My edits have been few and have not been disruptive. I am trying to adhere to all Wikipedia policies/guidelines and will continue to do so. Please unblock. Decline reason:

I'm afraid I can't do anything about this block as it requires a checkuser to evaluate private data I cannot see, and administrators who ignore that and unblock anyway get desysopped and stripped of their tools, so nobody will do it. You need to email arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org and appeal there. Sorry. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:14, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
