Welcome Chris Layn!
I'm Sm8900, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}}
here on your talk page and someone will try to help.
There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Sincerely, Sm8900 (talk) 20:52, 7 April 2021 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Prize Bond. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. --Guy Macon (talk) 20:25, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Shiatsu, you may be blocked from editing. --Guy Macon (talk) 20:25, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Any further replacements of dead links with garbage spam will result in a block and blacklisting. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:58, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
[edit]This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Thai lottery, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Cameron Todd Willingham, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Politanvm talk 21:41, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
