Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Everton F.C., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Everton F.C., without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Unexplained removal of reference. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:39, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Everton F.C..

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Removing references, removing players listed by source, etc Mattythewhite (talk) 16:29, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Everton F.C.. Again removing a player listed by source as a first-team player, and adding an unsourced squad number (Rooney). Mattythewhite (talk) 13:47, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Henry Onyekuru

[edit]

Please stop making disruptive edits. Henry Onyekuru is a senior summer signing for Everton. The source indicates that: "He is the third new arrival at Goodison Park this summer, following goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and midfielder Davy Klaassen, who were signed earlier this month from Sunderland and Ajax respectively." Source: http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/06/30/blues-finalise-deal-for-onyekuru

Look, if Everton completed signings for the Under-23s, they would actually state that they are signings for the Under-23s:- here are the sources:

Nathangelo Markelo - http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/06/19/blues-sign-youngster-markelo Boris Mathis - http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/07/05/blues-sign-mathis Josh Bowler - http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/07/07/blues-sign-up-bowler Lewis Gibson - http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/07/27/blues-snap-up-gibson

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Everton F.C. Reserves and Academy. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dl2000 (talk) 15:49, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Everton F.C. Reserves and Academy, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 15:50, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

[edit]

This page is massively outdated. I have spent a lot of time today editing this page. All the information currently listed is factual and correct. Feel free to check it. ChrisCheekos (talk) 20:56, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kinsella etc.

[edit]

Hi, have you got a source for Kinsella being released? Google and Twitter searches pull up nothing and he's still on the Everton official site under-23 section. I find it perfectly conceivable that the official site has forgotten to change things as I know how they can be, but I'd expect to find something. Also, I don't really get the removal of the context paragraphs that I inserted into the article, which I'd say are of value. Amenable to doing the Baxter information another way, but again I think there's merit to its inclusion. HornetMike (talk) 15:02, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Everton F.C. Reserves and Academy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lewis Gibson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:14, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war at Everton F.C.

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Everton F.C. shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Vitaliy Mykolenko name spelling

[edit]

There is an ongoing discussion about the spelling of his name at Talk:Vitaliy Mykolenko#Requested move 22 September 2022, but there needs to be a consensus to move. As the banner at the top of the article clearly says "Please do not move this article until the discussion is closed." I have reverted your move, please feel free to contribute to the discussion about the possible page move, but don't move the article whilst the discussion is ongoing.
