Chongtham Deepu Singh, 1989, a Manipuri poet, fiction writer was born in Wangkhei Angom Leikai, Imphal. He holds a Master’s degree in Manipuri Literature. He has a collection of poetry Thammoigee Leirang (2009), Malem Amasung Atiya (2017) and two novels Torbanduda (2015), Warinee Turel Wangmagee (2021) and an anthology of 18 Indian contemporary poems Autumn Buds (2019) to his credit. He contributes several articles in many literary journals viz. Ritu, Wakhal, Ichemma, Sahityagi Pao and Poknapham Daily etc. He has participated in many literary programmes at national and regional level. He is a life member of Naharol Sahitya Premee Samiti and The Cultural Forum Manipur. He is the recipient of Lairellakpam Dharambir Literary Award, Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar and Dibina Thakhellambam Ningsing Mana.
