Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!

[[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]]

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

[edit]

do you like any of our pictures? - you should donate some yourself, and not only as ""fairuse"" - good luck to you [[User:Kils|Uwe Kils communicate]] 23:22, Jun 17, 2005 (UTC)

Image:Roeper-pic.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Roeper-pic.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Chowbok 01:44, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Raid-ant.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Raid-ant.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. TheIslander 23:02, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Scj afc copy.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Scj afc copy.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:06, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Scj afc copy.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Scj afc copy.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:07, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your rollback request

[edit]

Hello Chicago god, I've granted your account rollback in accordance with your request. Please remember to use rollback to revert edits that you are absolutely sure are vandalism: if in doubt, don't use rollback to revert. In addition, misuse of the rollback feature, either by reverting good-faith edits or revert-warring, can and will lead to its removal. For more information, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 17:18, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your Revert

[edit]

You reverted my edit in Mugison. I think, that partly upcoming Tour Dates are not the kind of information a reader expects in a biographic article. I would appreciate you taking a look at this edit once again and - if you agree in my opinion - re-reverting this edit. --62.178.164.54 (talk) 07:46, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
