One account

[edit]

Could you pick one account? While multiple accounts are permitted under limited circumstances, they should declared in each other in most cases. Acroterion (talk) 14:48, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, what do you mean by picking one account? Chengli Yang (talk) 15:04, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Acroterion is referring to the account WilliamOfToronto created by you. If you intend to use both accounts, please declare it on the user pages of both accounts. Read WP:ALTACCN for more information and make sure you don't use the accounts for WP:CANVASS. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out! TNM101 (chat) 15:14, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I don't want to use the account WilliamOfToronto, but I can't close it neither. Could you please help to close it? Or how can I close it? Chengli Yang (talk) 15:16, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Accounts cannot be deleted as all contributions to Wikipedia need to be assigned to some individual account or IP address. However, it is possible to delete your user page for that account. I cannot personally delete the user page; however, I can tag it for speedy deletion if you want. Let me know what you think of this. TNM101 (chat) 15:24, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have deleted the content of user page of WilliamOfToronto, please help to review it. Chengli Yang (talk) 15:28, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
By deleting, I did not mean blanking the page, I meant completely removing it from Wikipedia. Doing that requires it to be tagged for deletion, after which it may or may not be deleted by an administrator. You will have to give your approval for deleting the user page if you want to do that. TNM101 (chat) 15:33, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I want to delete the user page of WilliamOfToronto. Chengli William Yang (talk) 15:35, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have tagged it for speedy deletion. It will soon be deleted by an administrator TNM101 (chat) 15:37, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your time to review the Wiki. I got the review messages all about reliable and independent sources, actually I think we got some news sources like:
And we also got sources from CommCon 2023 and 2024, which is a conference in London:
  • Winlin, Yang (21 June 2023). "Sub-Second Latency Streaming Technologies and Applications". 2023.commcon.xyz/talks/sub-second-latency-streaming-technologies-and-applications/
  • Winlin, Yang (6 June 2024). "Oryx: AI-Powered Media Kit for Everyone" 2024.commcon.xyz/talks/oryx-ai-powered-media-kit-for-everyone/
SRS (Simple Realtime Server) is a open source community from 2013, about 11 years ago, and famous project in streaming industry, but we are not a commercial project, so we have many users and developers all over the world but not too many news reports.
I'm also new to wikipedia, if you need more information about this project, please let met know.
