I left similar notes on pages by your fellow students. Please be aware that many of the topics that you are drafting are already well covered in Wikipedia, often at a relatively high level. For this reason, before you upload any article, take the time to check that related articles do not already exist. Your contributions are welcome, of course, but the basics of organometallic chemistry are relatively complete here, generally written by collections of highly experienced editors. You (and especially your instructor) are strongly encouraged to communicate your plans with the community here at [[1]], otherwise you risk simply being a nuisance, vs the help that you surely can be.--Smokefoot (talk) 20:06, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please, please, please do not post your page on top of current articles in Wikipedia. There may be sections that could be usefully inserted, but such insertions require some skill and knowledge of the layout here. Much of the report is either overly specialized, old-fashioned, or just not at at the standard of Wikipedia's organometallic content, which is the product of years of consensus-driven editing. These views, which are those of only one editor, apply to the reports by your fellow students.--Smokefoot (talk) 21:33, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
