AFD

[edit]

You commented on my AFD. There is now a permanent effect of the accident, surrender of licence to avoid prosecution. So I have a new article but people have AFD'd it.

Squeaky Rubber Duck, this is a clear violation of WP:CANVASS, because you did not inform editors who voted to delete in the previous discussion. Phil Bridger (talk) 09:01, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your inappropriate nac closure — there is no consensus to keep and you do not have enough experience to perform nac closures in AfDs. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talkcontribs) 05:48, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It was a different article. Cheesesteak1 (talk) 00:01, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
A different article on the same topic. On the first article your !vote was to keep (the "losing" position), and the effect of your closure was to keep. Even trying to assume good faith it looks like an attempt to "win" by whatever means are available.
In terms of Philip's life this is a minor footnote. Like many of his faux-pas, huge news today, forgotten tomorrow (or just remembered as funny). Cabayi (talk) 07:49, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

J. Kellogg Parsons

[edit]

Your article on J. Kellogg Parsons shows that he meets the criteria for academic notability #6 but does so entirely with primary sources from his employer. Do you have any which meet the independent requirement? Thanks, Cabayi (talk) 07:49, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

February 2019

[edit]

Your comments at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2019 February 17 are highly disruptive. Your conduct in general in the short time since you created this account is problematic and suspicious. Consider this an only warning. If this kind of conduct persists, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:38, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not be so suspicious and threatening. The IP that reverted my AFD closure is the disruptive move. Cheesesteak1 (talk) 22:40, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am sick of Bbb23's hostility. I hope he/she has a better day. I am signing off Wikipedia for now. Let's be nice to each other, instead. Cheesesteak1 (talk) 22:45, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Cheesesteak1,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username SportingFlyer and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, J. Kellogg Parsons, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SportingFlyer}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Blocked

[edit]

I have blocked you indefinitely for a mixture of disruptive editing, WP:BATTLEGROUND, WP:NOTHERE, and WP:CIR. See WP:GAB for your appeal rights.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:50, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
