Black Widow

[edit]

Look. How many websites say she is that character is not important if those sites aren't reliable. Some of them even cite the Entertainment Weekly article that says her name is Malena, and misspell it Melina to fit with that character they say she is playing. The most reliable sites we have for movie news are Variety, Entertainment Weekly and The Hollywood Reporter and none of them are reporting the character is called anything other than "Malena". Not even some less reliable sites like Screen Rant or Collider are saying so. So, until further notice, "Malena" is what Rachel Weisz's character is called, and nothing else. Now if you could revert your own edit to not start an edit war, I would be very thankful. El Millo (talk) 20:22, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's literally hard to take you seriously when you call every site unreliable

I said less reliable, which still is reliable, but has less weight than the other sites I mentioned first. Now Entertainment Tonight, which is also reliable, reports her character's name is Melina, and has a video interview with the actress where she clearly says "Melina" instead of "Malena". Still, no mention of the character being Iron Maiden or having a last name. El Millo (talk) 20:31, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's most likely that she will indeed be that character, but until we have confirmation from a reliable source we cannot say she is or link to her. El Millo (talk) 21:07, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That is not original research there's only one character in the comics Melina and there's enough reports stating that she is at least based on character.

"Dude I just checked marvels website there's literally only one melina in the entire marvel comics, that is the only one it could be." That is exactly what original research is. El Millo (talk) 21:14, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously there's enough sources now out there that state she is based on Iron Maiden

The number of sources doesn't matter if they aren't reliable. Put the links in here and I will take a look if you want. El Millo (talk) 21:27, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How exactly do you know if a site is reliabls then?

Have you edited Wikipedia before on another account?

Question in good taste. If you have, it's advised you stop doing so as it would violate Wikipedia policy. Otherwise, please ignore this with my apology. DeluxeVegan (talk) 20:33, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
