While I won't revert your edit here per the edit warring policy, as well as WP:BRD, I do want to ask about your partial reversion of my edit -- why did you change "underwear" to "underpants"? The former term is how it is used in other mentions in the article, so I think it would be better written like that, but I would like to know what you think here. JeffSpaceman (talk) 14:33, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

“underwear” is the more general term which also includes clothes like undershirts or bras. both are grammatically correct in this context, so for this is for the sake of being less monotonous ChecksMix (talk) 23:12, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In my section above, I stated that I would not revert your edits to Sticky Fingers per the edit warring policy and WP:BRD, but I want you to understand that since I have challenged your edits at Briefs, the onus is on you to get consensus for their inclusion. Do not revert to your preferred revision, discuss the matter on the talk page if you want those images in the article. Thank you. JeffSpaceman (talk) 21:04, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ok ChecksMix (talk) 23:14, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to state that I have responded to your comment on the talk page of this article, but I also want to explain this again, as I stated above -- do not revert to your preferred content while it is being disputed. If people are not responding to your attempts to start discussion on the talk page, don't be afraid to reach out for comment. The fact that I didn't respond to your comment on the talk page for a few days does not give you free reign to revert back to what you want -- see WP:Edit warring for further information about what to do. Until there is consensus established in your favor, the article should remain in the state it is currently in. Thank you. JeffSpaceman (talk) 15:14, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:49, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
