Orphaned non-free media (File:Picture of CHB.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Picture of CHB.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:13, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]Hi. I created the article regarding Charles Hopel Brown. I welcome additions, corrections and edits, however they must be in keeping with WP:BLP, WP:NPOV, WP:N and other guidelines which govern Wikipedia, which is an encyclopaedia, not a blog or a fansite. Yours, Quis separabit? 16:45, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Autobiography
[edit]Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Charles Hopel Brown. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Drm310 (talk) 15:56, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
