St Michaels
[edit]No problemo on the St Michaels page. Welcome to Wikipedia and happy ending. As for the commonwealth games, I think we will win but I don't really have any interest in them. Reyk 23:23, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
The notic clearly states why it is being nominated for deletion: it is an article about a band, singer, musician, or musical ensemble that does not assert the importance or significance of the subject. (|-- UlTiMuS 10:14, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Mr. Shadow
[edit]I have tagged your article Mr. Shadow for speedy deletion. Wikipedia is not the place to promote or get attention for unknown artists. — Swpb talk contribs 13:56, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Hello there. Actually I deleted the article. The last version of the article contained the following text
- Jose Anguiano ( Mr. Shadow ) is a Chicano rap artist from San Diego, California.
The reason why it contained so little text is because another editor removed content with the edit summary removed copyvio content and uncited fan gossip). Apologies of you already know this but articles are not supposed to consist of original research and information must be sourced and verifiable. None of the recent versions met this requirement and the stripped down version met the speedy deletion criteria. Also, I found the 24 January version of the article (the last one you edited) was identical to this. Its not clear whether that article is a copy of the wikipedia article - can you confirm whether it is the case? I'm willing to undelete the article for you to work on to bring up to standard, but you need to be aware that it would struggle to get through an AFD in its present state unless the subject is clearly shown to meet WP:MUSIC and the article is properly sourced. The only reason I haven't yet undeleted the article is because I I'm not sure about the copyvio. As soon as you confirm its your work, I'll put the article back up. Mr. Shadow
[edit]Your article Mr. Shadow gave no indication that the subject met our notability guidelines, and did not provide any sources independent of the subject. It takes more than the word of an anonymous editor to show that a subject deserves an article - it takes legitimate sources. In making a trustworthy encyclopedia, deleting unsourced information is far from pointless. — Swpb talk contribs 03:55, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Mr. Shadow
[edit]This is ridiculous, it is very obvious that Mr. Shadow is a well known artist and is not a fake individual. Just type in mr shadow in google and see how many results come up.--CharlesBronson18 13:28, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
- *cough* The only reason I haven't put the article back up is because I'm waiting for you to respond to my comment above from 27 June. Spartaz Humbug! 15:50, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Dyablo
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Dyablo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Dyablo. —Hello, Control Hello, Tony 16:48, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Knight Owl
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Knight Owl requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Epeefleche (talk) 00:53, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
