Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to High-speed rail. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --DAJF (talk) 10:36, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, DAJF. Could you please tell me why you deleted the reference link of piling rig? From the whole Wikipedia, we cannot see an appropriate word to describe "Piling Rig". Fortunately, I found a good description on "http://www.constrequip.com". In other words, the source of "Piling Rig" description is from that website. Therefore, please do not delete the reference link. If you have no opinions on it, I will add it into the page again. Thanks.

Speedy deletion of "New Dafang"

[edit]

A page you created, New Dafang, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is obvious advertising or promotional material.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. MER-C 09:38, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apply remove http://www.constrequip.com from blacklist

From page "drilling rig" I can see that there is a long list of drilling rig manufacturers and their URL linkage. It is inapropriate for Wikipedia viewers to losing another information exposure. Therefore, could you please reconsider adding the web into whitelist? Thanks.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Pile driver has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.constrequip.com/piling rig.html/.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:12, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir or Madam,

It is great pity that the link I added was removed and reverted. The thing I want to do is add a discription of piling rig into Wiki because I could not find an appropriate description of piling rig in Wiki. Piling rig should be different from pile driver and drilling rig that are despribed in Wiki, although there are some common points among them. Could you please remove http://www.constrequip.com/piling rig.html/ from your list of links to remove? Then I can create a description of piling rig rather than just add external link? Anyway the above-mentioned link is a source of such description. Thanks.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Charles.luo (talkcontribs)

Dear Charles.luo. I would suggest you first write the article outside mainspace, e.g. user:Charles.luo/Piling rig. Writing an article with only one source might get it deleted early on anyway, so I suggest you find additional sources. Please be aware that we are writing an encyclopedia here, and not a linkfarm. Thanks! --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:35, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, this is really the last warning, do not reinclude that link again before getting consensus on a talkpage. Next edit like that will get you blocked:

This is the only warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. Your recent insertion of spam, commercial content, and/or links is prohibited under policy. Any further spamming may result in your account and/or your IP address being blocked from editing without further notice. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:43, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
