August 2012

[edit]

Hello, I'm Newportm. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Helmand Province, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks,  –Newportm (talkcontribs) 03:48, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Afro-American peoples of the Americas, you may be blocked from editing. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:48, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. "I think you'll see where I'm coming from" is not an unblock reason -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:08, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I think you'll see where I'm coming from.

And stop sticking "<span style="<a class="ktg6us78hf8vdu7" href="#">color</a>:#0645AD;">contact</span>" all over the place, as that's what got you blocked. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:12, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How the hell did I do that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chargrilledawesome (talkcontribs) 06:08, 29 August 2012‎

I've no idea what you're doing or how you're doing it, but your last edit changed the section title above from "August 2012" to something weird, and added something weird inside the block notice - have a look at the version you produced, here, and see if you can see it. Your article edits also added similar stuff to articles. If you don't know what you're doing that causes it, is it possible you're using some kind of text editor or word processor, browser extension, or a mobile app or something, that adds that stuff without your knowing? Whatever it is you're doing that causes it, you can't be considered for unblock at least until you can stop it, and then we can consider any other issues. (Oh, and please sign your comments with "~~~~" so we can see who made them and when.) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:50, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No idea how It's doing that. Chargrilledawesome (talk) 10:25, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It did it again - can you perhaps try using a different browser, or disabling browser extensions while editing here? (At least until it is identified). While you're at it, you might like to explain the racist edits you made to several articles, which were the main reason for your block? (I hadn't seen them when I commented earlier) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:01, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not at all racist, but I lost a coin flip to a friend who, as a forfiet, told me to create an account and edit 3 pages of his choosing.

Well, that's clearly no reason to be editing Wikipedia, and your continued presence here would not be to the benefit of the project, so I suggest you go find some other site to vandalise. You could try posting another unblock request, but from what you have said, I think the possibility of another admin unblocking you seems slim. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:59, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
