Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of alternative metal artists, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--猛禽22 21:00, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. McDoobAU93 (talk) 00:29, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Before you add John James back to the Newsboys article, could you take a look at it. There are two issues.

  1. The page isn't about a person, it's what's called a disambiguation page. It's meant to point us to multiple articles that could have the same or similar names.
  2. The co-founder of the Newsboys isn't even listed on that page or anywhere in Wikipedia. If you started a page, and it surevived, you should consider linking the article to that one about John. Until then, please don't add a link back to that article on the Newsboys article.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
