With the article List of unusual deaths, please note that mysterious is not the same as unusual. - Aoidh (talk) 16:13, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
got it. i sometimes have a history of thinking "mysterious" is like an unknown/"unusual" cause of death. so u can correct me anytime. dont worry. Chaliceborn777 (talk) 16:15, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
sometimes i still think mysterious means unusual but im not sure if the definition for "mysterious" still means that. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english/mysterious Chaliceborn777 (talk) 16:23, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
ive looked at the history of the page and there was an 'unknown german servant' that died from a head injury while writing a love letter. ill try to find a source. it looks intriguing. Chaliceborn777 (talk) 16:30, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Chaliceborn777! I really appreciate your work on the List of unusual deaths, it's always cool to find new things to go there. If possible, would you please include a quote from your source when you add a new death? Ideally, a quote that explicitly calls it "strange" or "unusual" or something like that. If the title of the source already has that covered, something that sums the situation up is perfect. And if you're ever not sure if something belongs, please feel free to pop it onto the Talk page and ask! NekoKatsun (nyaa) 17:22, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
np. the thing is that i just do random google searches 4 stuff. so how i found jeanne boulet i just searched up "death from unknown beast" or smth like that. i understand her death wasnt unusual in its sense but she was the 1st victim. however i now know that sometimes firsts arent always considered unusual. i will try to find sum other unusual deaths. i will try to find some other things and add quotes. remember that i try my hardest to find unusual causes of death. cya then neko. look its not my fault ok? i cant tell whats reliable and whats not. i just cant tell because i dont think theres a code where it can show whether or not its reliable or unreliable. im sorry 4 using sources that r considered unreliable. i just cant tell. i cant tell what has infotainment and what doesnt nor can i tell what IS unusual even though theres the word 'strange'. im sorry. ill try 2 figure out whats real n not. c u then or whatevs. Chaliceborn777 (talk) 23:27, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, it's OK, nobody's mad at you and nobody's blaming you. :) It's hard to tell if certain sources are reliable or not - unusual deaths just happen to be the exact sort of thing that people like writing sensationalist articles about. It can sometimes be helpful to check the "About" section of a website to see if they talk about any fact-checking or accuracy processes, and I personally check this page out almost every time I have a source I'm not sure of. Maybe that would be helpful for you, too? NekoKatsun (nyaa) 14:39, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
