Referencing
[edit]For a biography of a living person (see WP:BLP) all content must be verified by references. Also, a synopsis of her book has no reason to be in an article about her. Submitting this draft via Articles for creation whould just be a waste of a Reviewer's time. David notMD (talk) 03:04, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- @David notMD I will correct the article and resubmit it Chahrazad2023 (talk) 08:26, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
Neutral point of view
[edit]Also need to remove puffery and peacock wording. For example, "Amira Chahrazad Chenine, author of Hakibatu Achak, (born December 15th, 1991, Mostaganem) is a distinguished English teacher and accomplished researcher renowned..."
Better: "Amira Chahrazad Chenine (born December 15th, 1991) is an English teacher and author."
Also, remove words such as passion, dynamic, serene, dedicated, spirit.... Reduce length by at least 75%, keeping only what can be verified by references. I will add that being author of a book, presenting at conferences, etc. does not make a person Wikipedia-notable. It is possible that no amount of revision will result in an accepted article. David notMD (talk) 10:24, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- what if I provide a reference? Chahrazad2023 (talk) 11:30, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
EXAMPLE: Replace what you have as Early Life and Education sections with one short section: Early life and education: Chenine was born on December 15th, 1991, in Ain Tedeles, a small village east of the city of Mostaganem. Algeria. Her cultural heritage is Bani Hilal. She completed undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees [name the universities, the years, her area(s) of academic focus; and have one or more references to published articles about her that verify this information]. David notMD (talk) 10:42, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- How can I generate a table of content? Chahrazad2023 (talk) 11:38, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- after you create Section titles the table of content is generated automatically. David notMD (talk) 13:37, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- @David notMD well it didn't. Do you think I am making a mistake somewhere? I am learning a lot of things in editing, I'll try different options to make this article well written Chahrazad2023 (talk) 14:37, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- I see a Contents box on the left side and a small Infobox on the right. Are you not seeing that? David notMD (talk) 00:52, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- @David notMD I can see the infobox but the content box is t visible for me. I would like to know if the article is meeting requirements as well and whether I need to do more work knowing that it is my first time and so on. thanks David. Chahrazad2023 (talk) 09:21, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- It isn't visible* Chahrazad2023 (talk) 09:22, 16 December 2023 (UTC)

Submiot button
[edit]I put a submit button on your draft. Do not submit yet, as needs work. Once submitted, there is a waiting period of days to weeks before a review decides to review it. Actions can be Speedy delete, Accept, Decline, Reject. A reviewer wil lleave comments as to why. David notMD (talk) 01:01, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- Sentences such as "Throughout her educational pursuits, Amira showcased dedication and proficiency, as evidenced by her academic excellence." have no place in a Wikipedia article. The reason is that this is seen as your opinion rather than from a reference. As an example of what is needed, I removed promotional wording from the Lead and Early life. You need to do the rest.
- More to the point, regardless of any improvements, her career does not in my opinion achieve notability in the Wikipedia sense of the word. See WP:NACADEMIC and WP:TOOSOON and WP:GNG. It is obvious that you want this to be an article. It will not be accepted. I recommend abandoning the effort and trying to find other means of contributing to Wikipedia. David notMD (talk) 09:53, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- @David notMD thanks for the instruction. I believe I should edit this and make it meet the requirements. I want this to be a biography of a figure because this is a profile of a writer just like any other writers on his platform that's why I'm working on making this a successful submission. with you advice I believe I can achieve this. Chahrazad2023 (talk) 10:13, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- I wish you well, but will not participate in any more communication. My main focus is improving articles pertaining to nutrition and health. David notMD (talk) 10:15, 16 December 2023 (UTC)

- @KylieTastic dear Kylie, what do you mean by secondary sources? do you think an article published on a new paper about this living person represents a secondary source? and does this help in making this wikipedia biography eligible for publishing? Chahrazad2023 (talk) 14:15, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- Yes most newspapers along with many books and other sources are reliable sources - see Wikipedia:Reliable sources for a fuller description. All new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). Currently none of your sources even mention the subject. KylieTastic (talk) 14:21, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- @KylieTastic I did not pay attention as this is my first time ever using wikipedia edit. in this case, I have 2 newspaper articles talking about this subject and her novel. I will add them to the references. Thank you so much. I'll edit this article and ait for your review before I submit it again. thanks for guidance Chahrazad2023 (talk) 14:25, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
