Ways to improve International Film Festival of Wales

[edit]

Hello, Chaddy711,

Thank you for creating International Film Festival of Wales.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Please change the headings of the award sections so that the titles are not in bold. Thank you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Wikieditor019}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Thanks, Wikieditor019 (Talk to me) 15:57, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, British Independent Film Festival, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe, and it currently has zero, since all the sourcing is primary. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:20, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate categorization

[edit]

For future references, please do not add Category:Film festivals to articles that are already in a "Film festivals in (Specific Place)" category, such as Category:Film festivals in Wales or Category:Film festivals in London. That constitutes duplicate categorization, because the more specific category is already a subcategory of the general one, and thus a page in the more specific category is already part of the more general one by virtue of being in the more specific one.
