It seems fine with the current picture. I see no need to replace. The Behnam 07:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Banners.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Banners.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:04, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Spokane Chiefs

[edit]

Please stop adding 'unsourced' disputable edits. GoodDay 17:53, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is not disputable edits. Please, please, please.... stop changing this. Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver HAS been used for professional sports. Take two seconds and look at the page for Pacific Coliseum. The Cancuks played there. The Canucks were in the NHL. That's professional sports my friends.

Putting aside the fact that the Canucks do not play at Pacific Coliseum anymore, and thus the arena is no longer used for professional sports, the SVMA plays host to a professsional af2 club. Your statement is indisputably wrong. Please stop adding it. Resolute 18:06, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have proven you wrong, so I can understand why you are upset. But the fact of the matter is the AF2 is not a professional sports franchise.

By the way, glad to see you've finally became a registered user (those multiple IP addresses, were becoming a headache). GoodDay 18:21, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've been a registered user for more than a year now. I haven't always had the time to sign in and fix things that you have taken out without cause.

Actually the AF2 is a professional league. Any league where a player is paid to play is a professional league. Nevermind the fact an NHL game has been played in the Spokane area so that negates your point anyways. --Djsasso 18:25, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Registered User

[edit]

If you've been a registered user for years (Just curious, you don't have to answer). What other 'registered name' did you use 'before' your current one? GoodDay 18:37, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your 'current' moniker, only goes back to March 28, 2007 (that's just 3 months as a registered user). GoodDay 18:47, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct. I was not registered before then, mainly because I didn't know how to register. I was in error saying that I was. But, if you look at the IP addresses making changes for more than a year now, you'll see mine. Cgc1980

No problem, I was just seeking clarification. Now that you're registered in, welcome aboard. GoodDay 16:36, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to the anon-user, the AHL, Minor League Baseball (to name a few) aren't professional leagues. I beg to differ, believe me those players are being paid. GoodDay 18:59, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My point is proven again. Cgc1980

I'll say it again, just because someone is getting paid, doesn't mean it's a professional sport.Cgc1980

Yes it does. The word professional means to be paid to do something. Therefore if you are playing a sport for money you are playing a professional sport. That's why players who play in the minor leagues can't then go and play in the NCAA because the NCAA has a rule that says those who have played in a professional league cannot play sports in the NCAA. You might not be playing a major league sport (which is what you are talking about) but you are playing professionally. --Djsasso 19:52, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Spokanechiefsbanners.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris 10:28, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
