Hello, welcome to my talk page. To leave a new message, click here. Please try to keep it relatively organized by signing your posts, posting new topics on the bottom of the page, making relevant headings about your topic and using subheadings, not new headings, for replies. I will almost always reply on this page to messages. I reserve the right to make minor changes of formatting (headings, bolding, etc.) but not content in order to preserve the readablilty of this page. I will delete without comment rude and/or insulting comments, trolling, threats, comments from people with a history of insults and incivility, and comments posted to the top of this page. Also, I'm much more informal than this disclaimer implies. Thank you.

I want to move "Mary Beth Mckenzie" article which I just authored to "Mary Beth McKensie" due to spelling error (should be capital "K"). I tried to follow the instructions, "Note that you have to be logged in to rename a page this way; regarding the set preferences: There is no button for this in the nostalgia skin; The button is in the quickbar, so this must be on. With the correct page displayed, click on the "Move" tab near the top of the page. "
I am logged in. I am not using nostalgia skin in my preferences. There is no link for "quickbar", so I don't know what that is, or how to turn it on!!!! I am at the "Mary Beth Mckensie" article and I only see tabs for "article" "discussion" "edit this page" "history" and "unwatch". If I select tab "edit this page", I still do not see any "move" tab!
I have tried using both Firefox ver 1.5.0.8 and IE ver 7.05 browsers with no luck ...
Help!
Thanks in advance,
cfpops

- Moving pages is only possible if your account is 4 days or more old (your account is 1 day old as of this message). If you post on Wikipedia:Village pump (assistance), it's likely a user there will do the move for you. The page you were probably looking at is confusing because it applies to the MediaWiki software in general, and so doesn't take Wikipedia's restrictions into account. --ais523 08:38, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit]New Userboxes
- I have added new userboxes. See User:Cfpops/Userboxes
- I see that you have the only userbox for Aero Engineers, so I want to thank you before I begin using yours. Dennibr (talk) 21:41, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
Adding a catagory {{userhelp}}
- I would like to add a new sub-catagory to Category:Wikipedians_by_organization entitled "Wikipedians in NASA working/retired", but I'm not sure how to do this without causing problems.
- TIA! Dave 16:32, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Geauga Park District logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Geauga Park District logo.gif. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

An invitation to join WikiProject Ohio
[edit]Hi, you are listed under Category:Wikipedians in Ohio or one of its subcategories. WikiProject Ohio has been slowing down and we're looking for active Ohioans to turn that around! But first, let us introduce ourselves; we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to Ohio and we're sure there's somewhere you'll fit in just fine. The project's departments include article quality assessment: We have over 5,000 articles to assess for class alone, newsletter writing: This has been delayed by a few months, and new page patrolling: Which has also been slowing down. We also have a newly formed taskforce on our over 1,000 townships at WP:OHTWP.
We have 132 members, many of which are not active within the project. If you are listed there and still received this message please accept the auotmated porcess's apologies. If you are interested in joining us please list you name here. If you're not interested please note this is a one time invite and you will never hear from us again.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to leave a message at our talkpage or with any member of the project, we'll be happy to answer any of your questions. We look forward to seeing you around!

Orphaned non-free image File:Geauga Park District logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Geauga Park District logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 04:25, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Image source problem with File:St John Neumann statue.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:St John Neumann statue.jpg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:00, 11 August 2016 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 14:00, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
