Disambiguation link notification for June 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rémi Amieux, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Defender (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did to Mohammed Abu, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 15:23, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Mohammed Abu. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GiantSnowman 15:27, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- Then simply include the reference with your edit. GiantSnowman 15:43, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- No, you clearly added the information (twice!) with no reference at all. There is no excuse. GiantSnowman 15:54, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- Then simply include the reference with your edit. GiantSnowman 15:43, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
here is the reference I was trying to add : [1]
Its from the official mcfc.co.uk website... now read ad the bottom of the page and add it yourself ... when you insist on being a troll

[edit]Just a helpful hint for you — when you're trying to revert vandalism that has followup "good" edits after it, it isn't actually necessary to successively undo every individual edit one by one all the way back to the version you're trying to restore. Rather, there are actually two ways you could have done it in one step instead of four:
- From the article history, if you click on the date and time of the version you're trying to restore (the "22:14 July 10, 2013" link), while you're looking at that old version of the text you can click on the edit tab. That will bring you to this view, where you can hit the save button and that version of the text will become "current" again.
- Back on the article history again, if you click on the "prev" link next to that same version of the article, you'll get taken to the revision. Notice that both columns have a "restore this version" link at the top; you can click on either one of those, and the version of the article in the column that you picked will get put back into place as the new "current" one.
It's not strictly wrong to do it the way you did, so I'm not trying to rap your nose for making a mistake or anything like that — it was just obvious, given that you manually undid a series of four edits, that you didn't realize there are simpler ways available to do the same thing in fewer steps. Hope that helps a bit. Bearcat (talk) 16:11, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your contributed article, Present and ongoing undefeated streak
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Present and ongoing undefeated streak. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of Denmark national football team results#2010s. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Denmark national football team results#2010s. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Largoplazo (talk) 22:06, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Guillermo Varela, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. [edit]The onus is on you to ensure that your full revert is in compliance with different policies. You performed a full revert without considering the possibility of a partial revert. As I have stated in the edit summary, the contents added by Uwdwadafsainainawinfi is a copy & paste directly from Oryx's webpage. You can see that when Uwdwadafsainainawinfi called the Harpoon missile system as "Coastal Defence Missle Systems" and the capitalization on words like "Heavy Mortars", "Night-Vision Goggles" and "First Aid Bags" when it should have been "Heavy mortars", "Night-vision goggles" and "First aid bags" respectively. This is why the revert was performed as it is copyright violation. Since you said that there were inaccuracies on the Denmark section, please edit it further but ensure that it does not continue to allow copyrighted materials to persist on the page. OhanaUnitedTalk page 15:56, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Then just edit it instead of removing it right away. On top of that almost half of the article is 1 to 1 from Oryx. Uwdwadafsainainawinfi (talk) 18:48, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Information cannot be copyrighted. However, the expression of the information can be. Uwdwadafsainainawinfi, as you inserted those materials, the onus is placed on you to ensure that your contributions do not contain copyrighted materials. OhanaUnitedTalk page 20:39, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
