Who is a Puerto Rican?
I'm a little confused. User: Entre-Nos says that unless you are born in Puerto Rico, you are not Puerto Rican. This is not a debate, just a discussion. I would like to know the answer to this, here:[[1]] Tony the Marine 02:03, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Moving Benicio Del Toro to Benicio del Toro
Seeing as you're a participant in WikiProject Puerto Rico, I wish to invite you to participate in the survey at Talk:Benicio Del Toro on whether the article on Benicio del Toro should be moved from Benicio Del Toro to Benicio del Toro. Timeineurope 14:11, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

eComXpo Edit Reversals
To prevent any accidental edit wars, am I leaving you this message to make sure that you read the notes on the related talk page first and not forget to do it and "take action" instead. This note is only a precaution and it does not imply that there would be an edit war without it.
I reverted your three edits (deletions) of the eComXpo article. Detailed explanation that addresses every single one of your edits can be found at the articles talk page. --roy<sac> Talk! .oOo. 05:43, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Can we close the COI report for eComXpo?
Hello Cerejota. It's no longer clear why this COI report is still open. (The only real-life connection seems to be that roy served as an unpaid panelist at the conference). On Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#eComXpo I proposed a compromise that you agreed to and roy did not. Roy was holding out for some more info to be restored to the article. I see that he did that recently (note his Talk comment above). Mostly the info that he restored looks OK to me personally. Can you accept today's version of the article? If so I'll ask him again if the report can be closed. EdJohnston 12:20, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sapair-logo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Sapair-logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:55, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I would like to pay a small tribute in this edition to Tony "the Marine". Editing since May 24, 2004, he has been one of our project's most active editors and has become one of Wikipedia's most recognized writers. He has authored over 400 articles, including 4 Featured Articles, 1 Featured List, 10 Good Articles, and 28 DYKs. His name has appeared in newspapers and magazines and has been mentioned by politicians and artists. He has brought Puerto Rico's history and its people to the web. He has shown the world that Puerto Ricans have done much more than just be gangsters and drug dealers. He has shown the world that we have contributed to history and the world just as much as any other group of people. On September 29, 2007, Tony announced that we would not be writing for Wikipedia anymore. We, the members of this project, are sad that he will not be able to continue to spread the word of Hispanics' contributions here on the web, but I, for one, feel honored that he has entrusted us with the duty of continuing and improving his excellent work. Tony, rest assured that your contributions, your wisdom, and the help you provided to all of us when we were new users will be remembered for generations. Que Dios te bendiga, Tony, y que tu recompensa sea grande en el Reino de los Cielos. Viva Puerto Rico libre. —Agüeybaná 16:52, 30 September 2007 (UTC) |
