OVERALL THIS ARTICLE IS VERY BRIEF. YOU WRITE MUCH MORE ABOUT THE STRUCTURE, (WITHOUT GIVING MUCH INFORMATION) THAN ON FUNCTION AND REGULATION. IF YOU KNEW NOTHING ABOUT ATM. WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO TELL ME WHAT ATM IS AND DOES AFTER READING YOUR ARTICLE? YOU CAN FIND SOME OF MY COMMENTS IN BIG LETTERS THROUGHOUT THE TEXT. THE CHECKPOINT PART IS QUITE WEAK. IN MY OPINION THE ROLE OF ATM IN CHECKPOINT ACTIVATION IS KEY. PLEASE CORRECT THIS AND MAKE THE ARTICLE A BIT MORE READABLE.
