User talk:Ceentrekin
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Ceentrekin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:Charles Entrekin, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Thank you, Coolskittle!
Actually, Charles is blind and I am his assistant. I wrote this article, but wanted to use ceentrekin because it is associated with Hip Pocket Press and I planned to do more for other authors (I just discovered the "biography" template)! This is a test piece. I would like to recover the data, please. Do you have other suggestions?
Ceentrekin (talk) 00:11, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Ceentrekin, nice to meet you. Could you specify which data you would like to "recover"? Has a page been deleted? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:30, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- One other note. Even though you are Charles's assistant, you must have a separate account and not one that impersonates him. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 22:49, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Draft:Charles Entrekin still exists. Ceentrekin can ignore the "page may be deleted" part of my welcome message, as it is automated. CoolSkittle (talk) 00:41, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
