FYI, the word apropos (French à propos) is not a posh form of appropriate; it literally means on the (same) subject, and the nearest English synonym might be relevant. —Tamfang 02:04, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please provide text for the <ref name=http://www.ancestry.com> please? For clarity's sake, I mean you could you please format the reference using something like Template:Cite web giving an exact link to the page on which you found this information? Until, kindly refrain from readding it, as <ref name=http://www.ancestry.com> is incorrectly formatted and through up an error message in the article. Apart from that, the link http://www.ancestry.com does not back up the information you are trying to add, so in effect you are adding unsourced information to an article in violation of WP:V. You need to provide a direct link to the page containing the information about Jeff Hardy.

Also, surely "The blue hair dye/facepaint Jeff began wearing in his matches in 2008-2009 is the same blue as the Clan Hardy[[tartan][, although it is unknown if this is a deliberate homage to his ancestors, the two Hardy brothers whose feat of daring saved the Clan from being massacred by King William the Lion (1143-1214) - or simply a co-incidental preference for the colour" is pure speculation in any case? You clearly say you don't know why he uses hat colour, and if it's not due to an homage to his ancestors, then it's irrelevant to the article, and shouldn't be included.

If you need any help with the references please leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart17:29, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Jeff Hardy. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please cite a source for this info. A direct link to the page where this information is stated, or leave it out entirely please. Your edits does not conform to the verifiability policy here on wikipedia. Please read and understand this policy before making any more edits. Again, if you need any help, please ask on my talk page. Thanks,'NiciVampireHeart17:41, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, well if you don't understand how to add references, would you leave the urls of the pages on my talk page? That way I can format them correctly, and re-add the information along with the reference to the article. I would need the exact url however. You were just linking to http://www.ancestry.com, which is the homepage of the site, and doesn't contain any information about Jeff Hardy. If once you access the information on the site, you copy the url and then paste it to my talk page, I can use it to reference the information. Does this sound like a reasonable idea? ♥NiciVampireHeart17:52, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

hello,

thanks for expanding the article. However, the article has too few in-line citations, but these are needed to check the accuracy. Regards.--GoPTCN 11:09, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
