This is a K-8 grade school wiki for a non-profit catholic school in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
- And how does this make the subject WP:notable? It also appears that you are using this article as a class project. That is commendable, but the article still has to be about a subject that meets Wikipedia's notability standards. Generaly speaking, schools below the high school level are not considered notable unless they are particularly historic or have some other measure of fame. Moreover, your article was written in a tone that promotes your school, and Wikipedia policy does not allow article that promote anything. Your involvement in an article about a chool where (I asume) you are employed also runs afoul of Wikipedia conflict of interest policies. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 19:48, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Nativity Parish
[edit]A tag has been placed on Nativity Parish, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 19:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello - the {{hangon}} tag should be placed on the article, not here - otherwise it makes your page show up in the list of pages to be speedily deleted, which wasn't what you wanted! I've fixed it now. Regards, BencherliteTalk 20:22, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
School projects
[edit]I'd like to direct you to Wikipedia:School and university projects, a page with information about creating Wikipedia pages as a school project. Generally, as noted above, schools below the High School level are not considered notable enough for their own article. Also, recreating an article that has been deleted without significant changes is likely to get the article deleted on sight. Pairadox (talk) 06:23, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Wiki Question
[edit]{{helpme}}
My "Nativity Parish" page was deleted because it was for a K-8 school, I understand.
Could I recreate the Nativity Parish page for the church though? Are churches allowed to have wiki's?
Thanks again for all your help!

- No, it was deleted for blatant advertising, it doesn't matter who you are advertising for, we delete the article.Mion (talk) 09:32, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
